Presented as part of the Stonehaven Folk Festival, the film explores Henderson’s enduring legacy as a poet, songwriter, and champion of traditional music. Through rare archival footage and intimate reflections, audiences are invited to discover the passion and vision that helped shape Scotland’s folk revival—making this a must-see event for anyone interested in the roots and resonance of folk culture.

The screening will be introduced by Prof Fred Freeman of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, who studied under Henderson at the School of Scottish Studies and was a close friend—bringing a uniquely personal perspective to this celebration of his life and work.
