Carron to Mumbai Festival Club

The Festival Club returns this year, in a new venue — the art deco Carron to Mumbai.

We have two great bands, each playing a 45 minute set, followed by a session.

Ape House are an award-winning band born in Glasgow, with roots in the West Highlands, Ireland, and Northumberland. They explore traditional melodies alongside original and folk songs, with enthusiasm and verve. With multiple members playing in BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician 2026, Ape House are an exciting act not to be missed.

Rohallion are a brand new band based in Perthshire, Scotland. Liam, William, Jake, Ardal and Hugh met at the local session in Dunkeld where they shared a mutual love for energetic tunes and songs, and before long they started performing at functions across Scotland. Combining influences from their home towns, and from across Scotland and Ireland, Rohallion bring a new energy to traditional music, whilst also drawing from the tradition that they grew up with.
